Shanty Creek Resort

Located in Antrim County in Northern Michigan, Shanty Creek Resort offers four seasons of outdoor recreation, with a favorite being downhill skiing & snowboarding at their Schuss Mountain. As winter approaches every year they are asked and asked (and asked) , “Why aren’t you making snow?”

To answer this way-too-often asked question from skiers and snowboarders, we created a series of spots to better educate visitors.  Featuring our quintessential mountain-man snowmaker & his “snow pro” lingo, we used facts to explain the different reasons we’re not blowing snow yet in an entertaining & off-center fashion for social media.
